Highlighting Alaska's premier youth footballers…

Safe & Sound

Well, we made it, with a few hiccups along the way, but all is going smooth as of now. The boys trained this morning and had a short scrimmage, in a pouring rain that made the Alaska players feel right at home (chaperones were huddled under the eaves of a building). Now it’s off for a little sightseeing and then the train ride to Boras, where the boys will watch a Europa League match. We’ll post a longer update after that, with a few pics.

Need more details. What hiccups? I’m just afraid it might involve my son.

All the best lads. Take in every moment of the trip, the training and game days, you will never forget this tour so enjoy.
Remember work hard, keep talking to each other and don’t worry about the opposition, let them worry about you.
Be a team on and off the field, be together and help as ONE.
We are right behind you here at home in AK.

I’m trying to figure out the online match schedule and it looks like we won the first game 1-0! Cool! Great job everyone!! When were the opening ceremonies? Were they awesome?
